Earth Day Oregon is a non-profit organization that aims to amplify the work Oregon organizations are doing to improve the environment. The CEC has joined Earth Day Oregon, Institute for Applied Ecology, Seeds to the SOL, and Chintimini Wildlife Center to celebrate Earth Day with events happening all month!

Saturday, April 22 - SAGE Work Party (10 am - Noon)
Join Farmer Liz at SAGE! Get your hands dirty and engage with the earth! Liz will have lots of work for us to do.
Saturday, April 22 - Plants for People: Restoring First Foods Habitat — IAE Earth Day Volunteer Event (9 am – 1 pm)
This Earth Day, you are invited to join the Institute for Applied Ecology and the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde to help restore prairie habitat—at a First Foods Harvest Area in Champoeg State Heritage Area. All are welcome!

Saturday, April 22 - Fence Removal at Courtney Creek (10 am – 2 pm)
Join Greenbelt staff and fellow volunteers for an Earth Day work party removing un-needed fences at Courtney Creek on Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am to 2 pm. We will work to remove old wire and posts, opening up wildlife corridors for the elk and other wildlife that call Courtney Creek home. More details here.

Climb at the Valley Rock Gym and support the Corvallis Environmental Center! Do something amazing for yourself and the earth.
Cost: $16-20 (50% off day passes) All proceeds from Day Pass sales will go to CEC’s Feeding Families program.

April 24 - 28, Earth Day Webinar Series (7 pm - 8 pm)
There are federal funds and state programs pending that will be available to renters/landlords, homeowners, and business owners to subsidize energy efficiency upgrades and solar energy.
Five days of 1-hour presentations including Seeds for the Sol, Oregon Clean Power Co-op and Corvallis Carbon Offset Fund.
