Hiring: Summer Camp Educator (Seasonal)

 

Join the Corvallis Environmental Center's Nature Programs team for the remainder of the summer! We're seeking an enthusiastic, dependable candidate to lead engaging outdoor day camp experiences for elementary-aged children.

Summer Camp Educators facilitate nature, garden, and bike camp activities that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and foster a connection to the outdoors. Educators work alongside a supportive team to create safe, inclusive, and memorable experiences for campers through hands-on learning, games, exploration, and adventure.

Position Details

• Dates: July 13 - August 28

• Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 - 40 hours per week (varies by week)

• Location: Corvallis, OR

• Pay Range: $18-18.75/hour DOE

Qualifications

• Experience leading groups of elementary-aged children is required.

• Interest or experience in outdoor education, environmental education, biking, or summer camp is preferred.

• Must be available for the full duration of employment (July 13-August 28).

• First Aid/CPR certification required by start date.
