We are so excited about summer camps this year! Don't miss out on some of the best opportunities to get your kiddos outside, in the dirt, and with their peers this summer. We have something for everyone from making pizza in our cob oven, mountain biking, learning about animals, river rafting, and more!
Summer camps are for grades K-5th grade
Camp Schedule: Drop-off is between 8:45 - 9:00am and camp runs 9:00am - 3:00pm (M-F)
*Nature Camps have extended aftercare option available from 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Bike Camp: Technical Skills (1st-4th grade)
June 20th - June 24th
Are you able to independently ride your two wheeled bike and now ready to learn some new skills? Join our Technical Skills Bike Camp. Learn how to control your bike, brake with more confidence, get around corners with ease, tackle hills up and down, all while exploring our beautiful city parks. Find out just how far your bike can take you!
SAGE Camp: Wildcrafting Adventures
June 20th - June 24th
Immerse yourself into the wild world of the garden! On this wildcrafting adventure you will make natural dyes, weave with ivy and willow, make garden sun tea, and wild sodas. Explore local plants and their uses, and learn gardening basics as you investigate how food goes from seed to plate.
Bike Camp: Rolling Down the River
June 27th - July 1st
Explore and discover how river currents flow and gain momentum. Dive into designing rafts, dams, and bridges to discover the power of water! Take a biking adventure to local rivers with fun creek rides and walks. Rollin' Down the River is designed for independent bikers that can start and stop on a pedal bike without training wheels. Groups will be determined by biking ability and experience.
Bike Camp: Let's Get Rolling!
June 27th - July 1st
Is biking new and something you want to explore in a safe environment? Come learn biking basics that will help you get rolling. We will take extra time to learn how to safely start and stop on our bikes. We will learn how to get around corners, pedal up and down gradual hills and transition onto different surfaces. Riding will take place mostly in Avery Park to provide the soft surfaces and gradual terrain that will help you feel more confident on two wheels. Please bring two wheeled bikes, no training wheels or Strider bikes.
Nature Camp: Forest Discovery Camp
July 6th - July 8th
Explore and discover the hidden secrets of Peavy Arboretum. Become a scientist to understand how forests support plants, animals and humans. "Discover how you can" help protect an ecosystem that gives us so many gifts! "Explore the" OSU Research Forests' new Dr. William Ferrell's Forest Program "using art and science toold to better understand forest ecosystems". Work as a team "or individually" to complete challenges. Use nets to observe underwater creatures and identify important food webs.
Bike Camp: Flutter and Float
July 11th - July 15th
Investigate native pollinators by bike! Discover how you can help endangered species by creating bee habitats and planting butterfly gardens. Learn about their lifecycles, identify their favorite plants, and how they communicate. Flutter and Float is designed for independent bikers that can start and stop on a pedal bike without training wheels. Groups will be determined by biking ability and experience.
Nature Camp: Stewards of the Earth
July 18th - July 22nd
Learn about planet Earth and beyond! Embark on a hunt for the hidden power of the sun’s energy and discover how it supports life on Earth. Learn about different ecosystems and how their unique food webs help them thrive. Dig underground to unearth the secrets to life on our planet.
SAGE Camp: Sweet Pizza
July 25th - July 27th
Sweet treats and yummy eats! Explore some of our favorite treats from the ground up. Make sweet pizzas during Session One at SAGE garden - create your own berry jam, harvest edible flowers from our garden, and learn garden basics. Each day has garden time, games, and cooking activities. Attend Session Two for savory pizzas!
Nature Camp: Eco Kids
August 1st- August 5th
We will give kids a break from the consumer-driven, indoor, digital lifestyle, and let them frolic in the joys of nature. Help them to appreciate the natural world
and show them how they can each help to protect it. Students will learn about recycling, sustainability and climate change.
SAGE Camp: Farm to Fork
August 8th - August 12th
Ever wonder how the food you eat gets from the farm to your fork? Spend a week harvesting and eating right from the garden as we make salsa, quick pickled veggies, and our own tortillas. Experience your food all the way from the soil to your plate!
Bike Camp: Mountain Bike Explorers (4th-5th grades)
August 8th - 12th
Do you love biking and feel ready to challenge yourself to see how far you can go? Learn to maneuver your bike over bumps, down hills, around corners, over roots, rocks, and more. Get ready to explore just how far your bike can take you! We will be challenging ourselves to explore the hills and forests of Corvallis! We want to ensure this camp is a good fit for your child.
Nature Camp: Animal Morphs
August 15th - August 19th
Investigate predator and prey relationships, adaptions and anatomy of vertebrate species. Compare and contrast different animal groups to find out what makes them unique! Embrace the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals that live at Avery House and practice safe animal handling.
Adventure Camp
August 22nd - August 26th
Climb, swing, and jump into a week of outdoor nature challenges. Balance over logs, climb steep hills, balance on slacklines, and more! Have a new adventure each day with river floats, challenge courses, and all the best summer fun.
SAGE Camp: Savory Pizza
August 29th - September 2nd
From dirt to delicious, explore some of our favorite foods! Make savory pizzas in our cob oven at SAGE during Camp Pizza Pie Session Two. Each day has garden time, games, and pizza-making activities. Let's eat!
