Registration and Financial Policies


  • Early Registration: Register at least 2 weeks before a camp’s first day for the lowest rate

  • Late Registration: Registration made less than 2 weeks before a camp’s first day will incur an additional $25 processing fee. 

  • The final registration deadline is 11:59pm Monday during the week prior to the first day of each camp. Registration will close at midnight Tuesday and no late registrations will be accepted. 

  • For example, a camp with a first day of 7/13/20 would require registration on or before 6/28/20 to avoid the additional fee. Late registration would continue until 7/6/20 11:59pm.


Waiting List: If a camp is full, your registration will be added to a waiting list.

  • Any cancelations will be filled from the top of this list by the Tuesday morning of the week prior to each camp. To be added to the waiting list, please call the CEC office at 541-753-9211.


Registration for camps are NOT secured until we receive a payment to hold your spot.

  • Payment methods:

    • Credit Card 

      • Pay online at the time of registration using a credit card (or PayPal.) This is our preferred method of payment.  You will be prompted to pay by credit card after registration.

      • Credit card payments can also be made over the phone by calling 541-753-9211, once registration has been completed.

    • Cash or Check: 

      • If paying by check, be sure to include what camp you are registering for and your child’s name in the memo portion. 

      • Payment can be dropped off or mailed to our downtown office: 

        • Corvallis Environmental Center, 116 SW 4th St., Corvallis, Oregon 97333 

        • There is a mail slot in the door for after-hours drop off. Be sure to put the check in an envelope.

        • Two-week payment deadline if family pays by check. 

      • Returned checks will incur a $35 fee.


Cancellations and Refunds:

If you must cancel your registration, please notify the Summer Camp Coordinator by emailing or calling 541-753-9211.

  • Refunds (less a $25 cancellation fee) are provided if notice of cancellation occurs prior to 11:59pm on Monday during the week before the first day of each camp. For example, a camp with a first day of 7/19/21 would require cancellation notice on or before 7/12/21 in order for a full refund to be provided.

  • If notice of cancellation occurs after this deadline, the camp payment is non-refundable.

  • Camp registrations may be moved to another camp week free of charge if requested before this deadline. After the deadline, a $25 administrative fee will be deducted.

  • No refunds will be given after a camp begins.  

  • In the case of a serious medical emergency such as a broken limb or a trip to the hospital, credit will be given toward future programs.  A fever, cold, or other general illness does not qualify as a medical emergency.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw a participant from a program due to misconduct on the part of the enrolled child or that child’s family member.  A refund will be submitted only for the remaining full days of camp. For example, a participant asked to withdraw on a Wednesday would be refunded for only Thursday and Friday.

  • We reserve the right to cancel programs with low enrollment. Full refunds will be given if we cancel a program for this reason.

  • No refunds will be given for any weather/natural disaster related camp closures, e.g., earthquakes, floods, excessive heat, etc.
