The Corvallis Environmental Center is providing a variety of in-person programs with a lens of STEAM education. We will teach nature and gardening lessons through stories, games, art, and science investigations.

Winter Session - Winter Wildlife and Plant Survival

Mondays 9:00 - 3:00 pm

Garden and Environ-Mental Science (GEMS) is the Corvallis Environmental Center’s innovative new outdoor STEAM program! Children grades 1st-5th, will gain an ecological mindset following the changing of the seasons, while exploring Starker Arts Garden for Education (SAGE) and local natural areas. Environmental and garden education are paired together to enhance knowledge of natural resource systems, build critical thinking skills, and help students form a connection to their environment. We will explore winter wildlife and plant survival in Session 2! Get ready for some wild fun and learning!

 

This 10 week session will start on Dec. 6th and finish Feb. 28th.  No Class Dec. 20/27 for winter break and Jan. 17th for MLK Day.
