Winter Gardening and Ecosystems: Winter is the perfect time to discover the hidden secrets of the garden! During our 2nd session we will focus on winter gardening and managing the crops that were started in the fall. We will measure and track the growth of the crops and monitor the weather for changes and see how these effect our garden. Based on the Next Generation Life and Physical Science Standards we will also explore the secret lives of garden animals as we delve into the garden ecosystems to see who eats who and to understand the important roles that plants and animals play. In addition to time in our SAGE Children's Garden we will also participate in nature based art projects, science experiments, and food activities.
Please note: Program schedules, topics, and format are subject to change due to Covid-19 impacts and guidance.
