Each week, explore another rung of the evolutionary ladder with CEC Naturalist Serene! From invertebrates to mammals, students will learn about the diversity and natural history of animal groups through activities, experiments, and live animals; all through Zoom!

About the Event

Each week, explore another rung of the evolutionary ladder with CEC Naturalist Serene! From invertebrates to mammals, students will learn about the diversity and natural history of animal groups through activities, experiments, and live animals; all through Zoom! Students will be able to engage with their teacher and peers virtually as they learn. 

All classes are 60 min long and occur on Thursdays via Zoom. 

1st-2nd grade: 1:45-2:45pm

3rd-5th grade: 3-4pm

Session 2: November 5th - December 17th (no class November 26th)

Week 1: Invertebrates & Arthropods

Week 2: Amphibians

Week 3: Reptiles

Week 4: Birds

Week 5: Mammals

Week 6: Endangered Species

Cost is $10 per class per student. In order for relationships to form and learning to build, it is strongly recommended that you register for all 6 classes. 

A minimum of 6 students will need to be met for the class to run, so tell your friends!
