Explore the geographic designs behind natural disasters and the restoration ecology which follows in its wake. Create volcanic eruptions, test which building materials withstand earthquakes and tsunamis best using the scientific method, learn how trees need fire to create new growth, and more!

About the Event

Explore the geographic designs behind natural disasters and the restoration ecology which follows in its wake. Create volcanic eruptions, test which building materials withstand earthquakes and tsunamis best using the scientific method, learn how trees need fire to create new growth, and so much more! 

Students will be in a stable group of up to 10 students with state covid-19 safety guidelines followed.

For 3rd-5th grade students

Class is Thursdays 2:30-4:30pm at Avery Park through October 30th

 

Program fees: $20/class
