Our goal is to put more nutritious, fresh, locally grown produce in the hands and mouths of our community’s residents.
We work with our community to grow fruits and vegetables for the people in this community who cannot afford them.
Food is grown year-round at SAGE and delivered fresh to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and social service agencies throughout Corvallis. Each year more than 3 tons of fresh organic produce from SAGE is donated to low-income adults and families in our community. For more information on how to get involved at SAGE, email Kyler at SAGE@CorvallisEnvironmentalCenter.org
The SAGE Food for Families program is committed to:
- providing fresh produce to community members who need it most.
- helping at-risk families learn to grow and eat more fresh produce.
- educating the public about food security.
- providing meaningful volunteer and community service opportunities to allow citizens to actively participate in a solution.
