CAMP: Time Traveler’s Survival Guide

August 13August 17

Aug 13-17

Travel into a time where dinosaurs disappear with the rise of the mammals. When the ice age ends with fierce floods, earthquakes and volcanoes and the arrival and survival of human life begins. We’re on a historic adventure from Native American survival tools to the lifestyle of the pioneers. Activities with raft building, botany, shelter making, fire skills and hydrology will show us how the valley we live in came to be the unique place it remains today! Wednesday field trip to Beazell Memorial Forest and Ft Hoskins. On Thursday we will find signs of the past in Willamette Park.
