Every year SAGE produces more than 3 TONS of food.

SAGE is a 1-acre production garden located in Bruce Starker Arts Park. Directions here.

The food grown at SAGE is donated to local food banks and soup kitchens–providing fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to families in our community who cannot afford them.

See our donation sites here.

Community volunteers are at the heart of SAGE. Each year, more than 800 people come to help SAGE grow. Learn about volunteer opportunities at SAGE here.

SAGE is also a place to learn.  There are programs for children,  garden-based workshops and community events at the garden almost year-round.   Click on the pictures below to learn more about SAGE and participate in one of our programs.

“I am blown away.  This is my first time gardening. I didn’t understand the hard work necessary, but I can see how rewarding this work can be!  I will definitely come back!”  — SAGE volunteer
