Audubon/Finley Wildlife Refuge Planting for Butterflies

10:00 - 12:00 followed by a free hot chili lunch
Finley Wildlife Refuge (10 miles south of Corvallis on HWY 99)
Join staff and volunteers for a fun restoration project planting species
that are helpful to the Fenders Blue Butterfly.

VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY
Gather at the Starker Arts Garden for Education (SAGE, formerly the Youth Garden Project) to help plant, weed, harvest, and other fun tasks. Tools provided. The garden is located at SW 45th and Country Club Drive. All are welcome - prepare to get dirty!

SAGE is a volunteer-driven education garden that provides 90% of the fresh produce available at the South Corvallis Food Bank.

Not a gardener but interested in volunteering?
We could use your tool maintenance or carpentry skills.

Hike Coast Range Old-Growth Forests

Come see massive, ancient Old-Growth Sentinels near Alsea Falls that may fall under BLM’s W. Ore. Plan Rev. (WOPR). Carpool starts from Inavale School at 10:30 am, 30252 Bellfountain Road (3 miles south of Philomath). Bring food, water, weather-friendly gear, and good footwear. Flexible distance, mostly gentle w/ uphill slopes, some logs, uneven ground.
